What Is Link2Pump?
Link2Pump Corp. is a global technology company focused on fleet fueling. Any business concerned with how its fuel is being used can benefit from our hardware and software. Designed to secure and automate the fueling process from both fixed and mobile tanks, Link2Pump has helped companies in construction, agriculture, transportation, landscaping, and many other industries secure one of their top three expenses. We streamline the entire reporting process and increase productivity at the office and the pump.
How Does the Link2Pump System Work?
The Link2Pump controller connects to the fuel dispenser and mandates proper driver and vehicle identification before allowing fuel to be pumped. Once fueling is authorized, the system activates the dispenser and automatically tracks how much fuel is pumped. When finished, all data is saved and transmitted to our cloud-based software in real time. Our intuitive portal provides insight into who, what, when, how much, and more.
What Is an IoT Fuel Management System?
IoT stands for Internet of Things, and it’s a term used for business solutions connected to the internet. Link2Pump’s controller units use cell technology to communicate directly with the Link2Pump cloud-based portal, allowing a wide range of functions to be implemented and managed remotely in real time. You get all of the benefits of high-end technology at a fraction of their cost.
What Does Cloud-Based Software Mean?
Cloud-based refers to software running on the internet instead of being installed on an office computer. There’s no hardwiring between the physical unit and the office building, no computer program to install, no operating system compatibility issues, and no minimum requirements. For larger businesses, that also means not using your local computing and IT department resources while benefiting from the highest standards of data security and privacy protection.
Is My Fuel Dispenser Compatible?
Link2Pump is compatible with any mechanical or electronic fuel dispensers. Since our controllers are managed from the cloud, our support team can make adjustments remotely. We can adapt to mechanical or electronic setups, perform recalibrations, adjust timeouts, and much more without costly onsite visits. The system is easy to install, and any electrician can fully implement it.
What Fuel Types Are Compatible?
Any fluids going through a pump can be controlled by our system. Common applications include clear and dyed diesel, unleaded gasoline, 2-cycle gasoline, oil, lubricants, DEF, and propane.
Is an Application or Tablet Required to Operate the System?
The Link2Pump system is completely independent of other systems for higher productivity and reliability. The unit operation takes as low as 5 seconds from identification to pump authorization. Our controller units are built tough to stand up to any climate, featuring robust LCD screens, keypads, and RFID fob readers.
Does Link2Pump’s System Have a Warranty?
Each controller sold by Link2Pump comes with a lifetime warranty. Our staff can perform most maintenance tasks remotely, minimizing downtime.
What Are Fuel Credits?
Fuel credits, also known as fuel tax credits, are government incentives or refunds provided to businesses or individuals using certain types of fuel for eligible activities, such as in commercial vehicles, machinery, or equipment. These credits are intended to offset a portion of the fuel excise tax or fuel levy typically imposed on the purchase of fuels like gasoline, diesel, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and compressed natural gas (CNG).
How Does Link2Pump’s System Guard Against Theft?
Our fuel management system eliminates theft by assigning an ID number to each employee and vehicle. This means a staff member can’t dispense fuel unless they input the right PIN to activate the pumps.
