How much does link2pump cost?
Hardware is a one-time purchase. Software is billed annually with no long-term contract required. Pricing depends on the number of controllers and your specific setup. Request a quote, and we’ll size it for your operation with a clear breakdown and no hidden fees.
What does the driver actually do at the pump?
The driver authenticates using a PIN, RFID card, or key fob before the pump activates. Once authenticated, they pump normally. The system records the transaction automatically and uploads it to the cloud dashboard in real time. No paperwork, no manual entry.
What data gets recorded for each fuel transaction?
Driver ID, vehicle, odometer or engine hours, gallons dispensed, fuel type, date, time, and location. If your telematics system is connected, odometer and engine hours are pulled automatically so the driver doesn’t enter anything manually.
Can link2pump prevent fuel theft?
Yes. Only authenticated drivers can activate a pump. Every transaction is logged to the second. Fueling limits flag anything outside normal parameters automatically. Most theft stops at the pump, and anything unusual is visible in the dashboard the same day it happens.
Will link2pump work with my existing tanks and pumps?
In most cases, yes. link2pump installs on your existing fuel dispensing setup and works with Fill-Rite pumps, older Gas Boy systems, mobile slip tanks, and DEF dispensing. We do a site review before quoting to confirm compatibility.
Does link2pump integrate with Samsara or Geotab?
Yes. link2pump integrates with Samsara, Geotab, and other major telematics platforms. Odometer and engine hours are pulled from your telematics system the moment a vehicle arrives at the pump. No driver input required.
Does link2pump support IFTA reporting?
Yes. Per-vehicle, per-jurisdiction fuel data is captured at the pump and available for IFTA filing. link2pump won’t file the return for you, but it gives your team clean, complete data that makes the filing accurate and straightforward.
How long does link2pump installation take?
Most installations are complete within 30 days of signing. Hardware ships within 2-5 business days of kickoff. Account setup and configuration run in parallel, and your team is walked through the platform before you go live.
Is my fleet eligible for fuel tax rebates?
If your vehicles use fuel off-road on construction sites, farms, quarries, or private roads, you may be eligible for a refund on the federal fuel tax. link2pump tracks off-road fuel use automatically and makes sure you have the records to support a claim.
